We also get into why there is no universal “Albania budget,” why some prices are rising, why blaming everything on expats is too simplistic, how publicly announcing your rental budget can backfire, and why culture shock doesn’t disappear just because your rent is lower.
Affordability matters. We know that firsthand. It was one of the reasons Albania got onto our radar in the first place. But once a country is on your list because of the price, you still have to decide whether you actually want to live there.
